We are an historic church with a contemporary vision
Founded in 1869 by a small group of Vallejoans, First Baptist has been a lighthouse of hope and help for 136 years. the times change but the mission stays the same.

Our mission is to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20 - "Go make disciples...") in the spirit of the Great Commandment (Matt. 22:36-40 - "Love God...love others...").

Our vision is to share the light of Christ with a relevancy that reaches today's generations. We will be a mission outpost in our corner of the bay area. Whoever wants to join us in bringing help and hope to the hurting and the searching, we say, "Amen and welcome!"
